CPAA helps Santosh Thapa fulfill his dream

CPAA's stated motto, Total Management of Cancer means that we try to help the patient in a holistic manner, treating the individual rather than the malignancy. So when a 20 year old boy came to us for help for the treatment of his father suffering from prostate cancer, we did not stop at the patient's illness. We learnt that that Santosh was a student of B.Com and wanted to study further and do his CA. His father was a watchman but had lost his job due to his illness and his mother worked as a househelp in the neighborhood. The funds that had been kept for his studies had been used up for his father's treatment and it looked as if he would not be able to fulfill his dream. CPAA stepped in and besides paying for his father's chemotherapy, helped Santosh to raise the funds he needed for his education. His enrolment fees were paid by one kind samaritan and tuition fees for coaching classes were donated by the Asian Paints Charitable Trust, M.L. Budhrani Trust and Mrs. Kiran Gera. Many thanks to all those who contributed to ensuring the future of this bright youngster.
