View Online Catalogue of the collection "Thumbprints in Time"   

Colours of life all came alive as art lovers all over the city came in large numbers to Cancer Patients Aid Association's Annual Art Exhibition. This year's collection "Thumbprints in Time" boasts of participation from over a 100 senior Indian Artists from all over India and overseas, who have given whole-heartedly to the cause. The uniqueness of this year's exhibition is the contribution of 20 senior Bengal school artists who are otherwise rarely seen in Mumbai. Piali Syam, who has an impeccable grounding in art, curated this year's exhibition, the proceeds from which will help raise funds for the treatment of childhood cancer patients. She is the granddaughter of Ramendranath Chakravorty, former principal of Government College of Art and Craft, Kolkata and is herself a graduate of the same college.

 Eminent personalities like Dolly Thakore and Nisha Jamval too appreciated this spectacular collection, which will be on display at Cymroza Art Gallery, Bhulabhai Desai Road from 6th August - 11th August, 2007.
