National Cancer Rose Day 2004

Rose Day, held on September 22nd every year, is our way of showing cancer patients that they are not alone in their fight against the disease. Here are some snapshots of the various events held all over the country on this occasion.

Special Screening of the movie "Kyun... Ho Gaya Na" at Cine Planet

This year Rose Day was kick started by a truly starry event. Cine Line Cinemas played host to about 100 cancer affected children and their families from all over Mumbai who were invited to a special screening of the movie "Kyun... Ho Gaya Na " at their theatre Cine Planet at Sion.
The stars of the movie, Aishwarya Rai & Vivek Oberoi graced this occasion by their presence. They met the patients and distributed roses, sweets & gifts amongst them.

Distribution of roses to the patients at various hospices & hospitals like Tata Memorial, Wadia, Cama etc, in Mumbai, by the treating doctors and our volunteers

Rose Day Celebrations at CPAA - Delhi branch
	Pop Stars - Annamika & Shankar Sawhney made Delhi's cancer patients feel special during a music show at Bal Bhavan, singing and dancing along with them.
